Indianapolis Youth Ballet Company

Mission Statement:

To provide young people, who have a love of ballet, with a memorable and artistically fulfilling experience that will enhance their self esteem and encourage a lasting love for the performing arts.

Guiding Principles:

-To provide a creative environment, treating each other with respect and dignity.

-To develop an enthusiasm for the performing art of ballet

-To provide a program as close to that of “professional” ballet company but without the strict regiment required by the professional. We believe there should and can be a balance for children in this art.

Important IYBC Dates.

Mandatory Practices held at Tippy Toes

Tuesday January 28th 6:05-8:45pm Evening Show (without Technique Students)

Friday January 31st 4:00-6:45pm Matinee Show (without Technique Students)

Tuesday February 4th 5:15-8:45pm Matinee Show (including Matinee Technique Students)

Thursday February 6th 5:15-8:45pm Evening Show (including Evening Technique Students)

Monday February 10th 6:40-8:45pm Cleaning Practice (depending on what we are wanting to clean) Attendance may not be needed (without Technique Students)

Mandatory Dates you must attend in order to perform in the Ballet

These are held at Franklin Community High School Performing Arts Center

Thursday February 13th 6:30-9:30pm Matinee Dress Rehearsal FULL CAST (including Matinee Technique Students)

Friday February 14th 6:30-9:30pm Evening Dress Rehearsal FULL CAST (including Evening Technique Students)

Saturday February 15th 2:00pm Matinee Performance

Saturday February 15th 7:00pm Evening Performance
