“Tippy Toes Rose”, the dancing elephant, welcomes you to our dance family. We love ballet, tap, and having fun. Children of all ages can learn the fundamentals of dance in a safe and comfortable atmosphere. Parents are welcome to observe each and every class!

Parent Observation.

There’s no need to wait for “Parent Observation Day”. Here at Tippy Toes it’s every day! We specially built our studios to accommodate one observer per student right inside the dance room.

Best Show in Town.

Backdrops, special lighting, and amazing props make our show a truly entertaining event. We choose a theme and each student gets to play a part. The stage is calling!

 

Frequently asked Questions

 

What ages do you accept?

Our Baby and Me program accepts students as young as 15 months old. Preschool classes are for students 2-4 yrs of age. Of course we also have classes for older students as well. (All ages as of September 1st) Click on the “Classes” button for more details.

Is there a contract to sign?

No. Even though our dance year runs like a school year from Fall to Spring, payments are broken up into monthly payments. A flat fee will be charged at the beginning of each month. You may cancel at anytime. However there are no refunds. You also cannot skip months. If you choose to cancel and then want to enroll again later in the same dance year there is an enrollment fee of $60. Unpaid tuition balances accrue a monthly late fee of $5 if not paid after the 1st of each month.

What other costs should I expect?

It is FREE to register! Tippy Toes does not charge a registration fee. Once enrolled, you will be charged a flat monthly rate (regardless of the number of classes in the month). Also expect to purchase dance attire and shoes. If you choose to participate in the recital, costume money is usually due in November. There is a recital fee due in Spring.

What is the dress code for younger ones?

Students in Baby and Me, Preschool, Beginner, and Elementary 1 levels can wear a leotard of any color, pink ballet tights, pink ballet shoes, tan tap shoes (no laces). Skirts, ballet wraps, and tutu’s are optional.

What is the dress code for older ones?

Elementary II and up must wear a solid dark leotard and pink tights. A ballet wrap sweater, skirts, or leg warmers are optional, but must be approved by your teacher. No street clothes are to be worn (shorts, pants, t-shirts, oversized sweaters etc). A student will not be permitted to dance if they are not following this rule. They will be asked to sit and observe.

What shoes do I need to buy?

All students will need a pair of pink ballet shoes. Students in Baby and Me, Preschool, Beginner, Elementary 1 need tan tap shoes (no laces). Elementary 2-3 and Intermediate 1-2 need tan buckled tap shoes. Once a student is in Intermediate 3, they will need to purchase black lace up tap shoes.
